An important topic and one that is very close to my heart.
Hannah Isabella Alyson Grace Plint was taken tragically at approx 2.15pm on the Forth Day of October 2007, by the pool in her families back yard as her mother change her younger brother's nappy. Hannah took a plastic chair the the gate and opened it, before silently slipping under the water and out of this life forever.
Hannahs parents, Katherine and Andrew have worked tirelessly over the last 2 years to raise awareness and provide support to other families who have lost children to drowning via the foundation they created - "Hannah's Foundation".
This Sunday the 4th of October 2009 is the second anniversary of Hannah's death and to honour Hannah and spread the word about why Drowning Prevention is so important Hannah's family would like as may people around the world to release pink or purple ballons at sunrise and sunset and photograph them. These photo's can then be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org an online album will be created to share the images with every one.
I would appreciate your support to make this event a success for Hannah's Foundation and pay tribute the the memory of a beautiful little girl who was taken to soon.
Hannah - you are seen, you are known, you are loved.
